Why get in motion
Our lives are busier than ever and many people find themselves trying to find the time, energy and motivation to be physically active. Here are a few of our favourite reasons for adults to get "in motion":
- It's a Stress Buster - even short bouts of activity (10 minutes) can improve your mood and help to manage stress.
- It's Perfect "Me" Time - with increased demands on our time and energy, a walk around the block or trip to the gym may be the perfect time to focus on yourself.
- It's a Great Way to Connect - gather up your family or call up a friend and catch up over a stroll in the neighbourhood or local park.
